Partnering with Pro Direct, Dent Studio, and Adidas for the F50 Football Shoe Launch

We at Royal Rentals are thrilled to share the story of our recent collaboration with Pro Direct, Dent Studio, and Adidas for an exhilarating project. 

This partnership was forged to launch Adidas’ new F50 football shoe, and we were chosen to provide the perfect vehicle to embody the shoe’s essence of speed and attention-grabbing style.

The Initial Call

The journey began with an exciting call from Adam at Dent Studio & Pro Direct team. 

They were on the lookout for a vehicle that could showcase the speed and allure of the F50 football shoe, which was set to launch on May 25th outside Manchester Stadium. 

The event was designed to build attraction and engage eager fans with giveaways of the new F50 shoe.

Initially, the team requested a McLaren 720S in the same colour as the shoe, vibrant purple with detailed accents. 

However, after several back-and-forth emails, our operations manager had a brilliant suggestion. Instead of modifying the McLaren, why not opt for a vehicle that already matched the exact colour of the shoe? Enter the bright Purple Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder.

The Perfect Match

The suggestion to use the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder was well-received. Not only did it perfectly match the shoe’s colour, but it also significantly reduced costs since we only needed to apply the necessary graphics. 

This was a win-win situation for everyone involved.

To ensure the best quality graphics, we enlisted the expertise of

a renowned company in Sign Making & Graphics Specialist. 

Due to confidentiality, we couldn’t reveal the project’s details to them until the graphics arrived. Despite the initial secrecy, Mart Signs suggested adding a custom F50 number plate to enhance the car’s allure, an idea that was eagerly approved.

Overcoming Challenges

The first challenge emerged when the graphics provided were of varying sizes. However, Mart Signs handled this seamlessly, resolving the issue without causing any delays.

As the launch day approached, another hurdle arose. 

On May 25th, the car needed to be in Manchester by 9 AM, but the key had mistakenly been misplaced, leaving us without access to the vehicle as it needed to be transported on a trailer to save the mileage on the vehicle. 

Quick thinking and rapid response were crucial. We swiftly arranged for the spare key to be brought, allowing us to drive the car from our London offices to Manchester. 

Thanks to our team’s dedication, the car was delivered exactly at 9:00am. 

Launch Day Success

Launch day was a resounding success. The bright Purple Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder, adorned with the F50 graphics and custom number plate, was a showstopper. 

The vibrant vehicle drew significant attention, perfectly complementing the energy and excitement surrounding the launch of the F50 football shoe.

Fans gathered outside Manchester Stadium were captivated by the stunning car and the new shoe, making the event a memorable experience for all. 

The seamless execution of this project showcased our ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines.
