Can I rent a vehicle for just one day?
At Royal Rentals, we understand that you may only need a luxury vehicle for a short time. However, our rental policy requires a minimum hire period of 2 days (Monday to Thursday) and 3 days (Friday to Monday). This ensures our fleet remains in excellent condition and available for longer bookings.

How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle from Royal Rentals?
To ensure the safe and responsible use of our luxury and high-performance vehicles, Royal Rentals has specific age requirements:
Prestige Vehicles: Minimum age 28 years
Supercars: Minimum age 30 years
All drivers must also hold a valid driving license for at least 2 years. These policies help us maintain the highest safety standards and preserve the condition of our premium fleet.

Do I need to pay a deposit, and when will it be refunded?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all luxury car rentals with Royal Rentals. On the day of delivery, we will pre-authorize the deposit on your payment card. This amount is automatically released on the day of vehicle collection, provided the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
For international payment cards, Please allow up to (14 business days) for the funds to appear back in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

Is insurance included in the rental?
Yes, Fully Comprehensive Self-Drive Hire Insurance is included with every rental for both UK and international clients. This insurance provides coverage for the duration of your hire, giving you peace of mind while enjoying our luxury and supercar fleet. We do not offer any type of excess waiver on any of our vehicles.

Do you offer prom car hire?
At Royal Rentals, we do not offer chauffeur-driven prom car hire. However, we do provide self-drive luxury car hire for eligible drivers.
To rent one of our vehicles for prom or any other occasion, the driver must be:
- At least 28 years old for Prestige Vehicles
30+ old for Supercars
- Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years
Please note that our rental policy requires a Minimum Booking of 2 days, as we prioritise longer-term rentals to maintain vehicle availability and service standards. Single day hires are not available.

Rental Process
A member of our rental team will request your driving documents. These can be submitted via email or WhatsApp.
Required documents:
- Driving Licence
- Passport and Visa Entry Stamp (for non-UK residents)
- Utility Bill (dated within the last 3 months – UK clients only)
Once your ID is approved, we’ll ask you to confirm your reservation by making the full rental payment. You can pay via bank transfer or a secure payment link sent to your email.
After payment, you will receive a booking confirmation with all rental details.
On the day of delivery or collection:
- You’ll receive a live location link to your phone showing the estimated time of arrival.
- A member of our fleet team will present the required paperwork:
- Once signed, the team will walk you through the vehicle’s controls to ensure you're confident operating it.

Vehicle Return Process
A day before the rental return date, a member of our fleet team will contact you to confirm the handover.
Upon return, the team will inspect the vehicle for:
Any additional damage
Excess mileage
Reduced fuel level
If no issues are found, the pre-authorised security deposit will be released back to the account holder.
Allow up to 7 working days for UK customers and 14 days for international customers for the full release. This accounts for any traffic fines or charges that may be reported after the rental ends.
Toll fees and fines are the renter’s responsibility and may include an administration fee.

Very easy transaction as it should be, but most likely not so common these days. Deposit received back into my international account within 7 days.
