Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all luxury car rentals with Royal Rentals. On the day of delivery, we will pre-authorize the deposit on your payment card. This amount is automatically released on the day of vehicle collection, provided the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
For international payment cards, Please allow up to (14 business days) for the funds to appear back in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

Yes, Fully Comprehensive Self-Drive Hire Insurance is included with every rental for both UK and international clients. At Royal Rentals, we do not offer chauffeur-driven prom car hire. However, we do provide self-drive luxury car hire for eligible drivers.
To rent one of our vehicles for prom or any other occasion, the driver must be:
- At least 28 years old for Prestige Vehicles
30+ old for Supercars
- Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years
Please note that our rental policy requires a Minimum Booking of 2 days, as we prioritise longer-term rentals to maintain vehicle availability and service standards. Single day hires are not available.

Rental Process
A member of our rental team will request your driving documents. These can be submitted via email or WhatsApp.
Required documents:
- Driving Licence
- Passport and Visa Entry Stamp (for non-UK residents)
- Utility Bill (dated within the last 3 months – UK clients only)
Once your ID is approved, we’ll ask you to confirm your reservation by making the full rental payment. You can pay via bank transfer or a secure payment link sent to your email.
After payment, you will receive a booking confirmation with all rental details.
On the day of delivery or collection:
- You’ll receive a live location link to your phone showing the estimated time of arrival.
- A member of our fleet team will present the required paperwork:
- Once signed, the team will walk you through the vehicle’s controls to ensure you're confident operating it.

A day before the rental return date, a member of our fleet team will contact you to confirm the handover.
Upon return, the team will inspect the vehicle for:
Any additional damage
Excess mileage
Reduced fuel level
If no issues are found, the pre-authorised security deposit will be released back to the account holder.
Allow up to 7 working days for UK customers and 14 days for international customers for the full release. This accounts for any traffic fines or charges that may be reported after the rental ends.
Toll fees and fines are the renter’s responsibility and may include an administration fee.
The All-New Range Rover Makes Its Debut – A New Era of Luxury and Innovation
The new Range Rover has officially made its motor show debut in Los Angeles, following the conclusion of an extensive five-year development programme involving over seven million hours of testing. Set to launch in spring next year, this reinvented luxury SUV marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for Land Rover, with every model in the brand’s lineup set to offer a fully electric version by the end of the decade.
A pure-electric version of the new Range Rover—Land Rover’s first all-electric vehicle—has been confirmed for a 2024 launch, cementing the brand’s commitment to electrification.
Design and Configuration
Revealed in both standard and long-wheelbase variants, the new Range Rover offers more versatility than ever, including—for the first time—the option of seven seats in the long-wheelbase version. The SUV is now available to order, with prices starting at £94,400 for the standard model and £120,000 for the long-wheelbase version. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in the spring.
Powertrain Options
At launch, the Range Rover will be offered with a selection of petrol and diesel engines, including a range of 3.0-litre Ingenium straight-six units—two petrol and three diesel—each equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology. Power outputs range from 246 bhp in the D250 diesel to 395 bhp in the P400 petrol.
Approximately three months post-launch, a pair of plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models will join the range. These new PHEVs will be powered by a six-cylinder engine paired with a 38.2kWh battery, delivering a WLTP-certified electric-only range of up to 62 miles—among the longest of any PHEV on the market.
The ‘Extended Range’ PHEV options produce 434 bhp and 457 lb-ft or 503 bhp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Land Rover estimates these models will be capable of completing up to 75% of typical journeys using electric power alone. With 50kW DC fast-charging capability, an 80% charge can be achieved in under an hour. A regenerative braking system also helps recharge the battery while driving, and the battery is strategically positioned beneath the floor to optimize weight distribution.
Signature Styling and Next-Gen Lighting
The most striking design update is a large gloss black rear panel that integrates vertical brake lights on either side and an LED indicator strip across the top—hidden from view until activated. Land Rover confirms this rear light signature will define future models, including the next Evoque, Range Rover Sport, and Velar successor.
At the front, cutting-edge headlights incorporate over 1.2 million micro-mirrors in each cluster, using a high-tech system to reflect light from a rear-mounted source. These mirrors can be individually adjusted to enable 'shadow tracking'—a feature that avoids dazzling oncoming traffic.
