Yes, a refundable security deposit is required for all luxury car rentals with Royal Rentals. On the day of delivery, we will pre-authorize the deposit on your payment card. This amount is automatically released on the day of vehicle collection, provided the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition.
For international payment cards, Please allow up to (14 business days) for the funds to appear back in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

Yes, Fully Comprehensive Self-Drive Hire Insurance is included with every rental for both UK and international clients. We do not offer any type of excess waiver on any of our vehicles.

At Royal Rentals, we do not offer chauffeur-driven prom car hire. However, we do provide self-drive luxury car hire for eligible drivers.
To rent one of our vehicles for prom or any other occasion, the driver must be:
- At least 28 years old for Prestige Vehicles
30+ old for Supercars
- Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 2 years
Please note that our rental policy requires a Minimum Booking of 2 days, as we prioritise longer-term rentals to maintain vehicle availability and service standards. Single day hires are not available.

Rental Process
A member of our rental team will request your driving documents. These can be submitted via email or WhatsApp.
Required documents:
- Driving Licence
- Passport and Visa Entry Stamp (for non-UK residents)
- Utility Bill (dated within the last 3 months – UK clients only)
Once your ID is approved, we’ll ask you to confirm your reservation by making the full rental payment. You can pay via bank transfer or a secure payment link sent to your email.
After payment, you will receive a booking confirmation with all rental details.
On the day of delivery or collection:
- You’ll receive a live location link to your phone showing the estimated time of arrival.
- A member of our fleet team will present the required paperwork:
- Once signed, the team will walk you through the vehicle’s controls to ensure you're confident operating it.

A day before the rental return date, a member of our fleet team will contact you to confirm the handover.
Upon return, the team will inspect the vehicle for:
Any additional damage
Excess mileage
Reduced fuel level
If no issues are found, the pre-authorised security deposit will be released back to the account holder.
Allow up to 7 working days for UK customers and 14 days for international customers for the full release. This accounts for any traffic fines or charges that may be reported after the rental ends.
Toll fees and fines are the renter’s responsibility and may include an administration fee.
The all-new Range Rover makes its motor show debut in Los Angeles after an extensive five-year, seven-million-hour testing programme, ahead of its market launch next spring. This reinvented luxury SUV, a rival to the Porsche Cayenne, leads a full overhaul of Land Rover’s lineup, with every model set to offer a fully electric option by the end of the decade. The pure-electric Range Rover, confirmed for launch in 2024, will be the brand’s first all-electric vehicle.
Available now to order in both standard and long-wheelbase versions—the latter offering seven seats for the first time—the Range Rover starts at £94,400 for the short wheelbase and £120,000 for the long wheelbase. At launch, a range of petrol and diesel engines with 48V mild-hybrid technology will be offered, followed by petrol plug-in hybrids about three months later.
A standout design feature is a large gloss-black rear panel integrating vertical brake lights and a horizontal indicator bar, which remain invisible when off. This unique tail-light design will become a signature look across future Range Rover models, including the Evoque, Range Rover Sport, and Velar successor. The lights use some of the most powerful LEDs available, while the headlights incorporate 1.2 million tiny mirrors with ‘shadow tracking’ technology to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers.
The engine lineup begins with 3.0-liter Ingenium straight-sixes—two petrol and three diesel—delivering 246bhp to 395bhp. The upcoming petrol-electric plug-in hybrid features a 38.2 kWh battery with a WLTP-certified electric range of 62 miles, among the longest of any PHEV available. The ‘Extended Range’ PHEV, based on a six-cylinder engine, offers outputs of 434bhp/457lb-ft or 503bhp/516lb-ft and can cover 75% of journeys using electric power alone, according to Land Rover.
Charging is supported at up to 50kW, reaching 80% capacity in under an hour, while regenerative braking helps recharge the battery, which is optimally placed under the floor for improved weight distribution.
